Understand the findings

Your written report documents what was inspected, visible findings and any access limitations, including why an area was unsafe or inaccessible. It explains recommended next steps so you can review concerns after the visit.

An inspection reflects conditions visible at the time. It does not guarantee future performance or that a damaged system is ready to use.

Before you book

What does the $199 package cover?

$199 is the final package price for a full Level 2 inspection and standard cleaning of one wood-burning fireplace and one flue. The inspection includes relevant accessible-area checks, an interior flue camera scan and a written report. Any extra work is quoted separately and performed only with your approval.

Is this a full Level 2 inspection or just a camera check?

It is a full Level 2 inspection. In addition to readily accessible chimney and fireplace components and a camera scan of the flue, it includes relevant accessible attic, basement, crawlspace and roof areas. The written report records any unsafe or inaccessible areas and explains why they could not be inspected.

What if my chimney needs more than standard cleaning?

Tell us about heavy or glazed creosote, blockages, animal activity, damage or difficult access before the visit. These conditions can affect the work needed. Any extra work is quoted separately and performed only with your approval. Call us if you are unsure which service to choose.

Does the inspection guarantee my fireplace is safe to use?

No. An inspection records observable conditions at the time of the visit. The report may identify concerns, access limitations or further work needed before use. Cleaning does not repair damage, and an inspection does not guarantee future performance.

Can I book this for a gas fireplace or more than one flue?

This package is for one wood-burning fireplace and one flue. Call ATL Chimney about gas fireplaces, additional fireplaces or flues, or another system so we can discuss the appropriate service.
